Subsurface is een gemeenschapsgedreven open source project. Het is gratis beschikbaar voor iedereen en niemand wordt betaald om eraan te werken. Als het je bevalt en een bijdrage wilt leveren, dan kun je dat op verschillende manieren doen:

Door programmeren en code bijdragen

If you are a software developer (of any experience level), your help with maintaining and extending Subsurface will be greatly appreciated. Have a look at our contribution guide on GitHub to see how you can get started.

Door testen

If you would like to work closely with our developers and help test the latest features and bug fixes, our testing guide explains where to find development builds and report results. We especially need people running Windows and macOS (as the majority of the active developers are Linux people).

Door het schrijven van documentatie

If you are good with words you can help us by writing, reviewing, and improving documentation and articles for our website. Our documentation contribution guide points to the user manual and website sources and explains where to propose changes.

Door de gebruikerservaring te verbeteren

If you like to obsess over usability and user experience, and ideally have some experience in UX and / or web design, we can always use help with improving the user experience and visual design of Subsurface and of our website. See our user experience contribution guide for where to discuss and propose improvements.

Door Subsurface te vertalen

You can help make Subsurface available in your language by joining the application or website translation project on Transifex. Please do not edit translation files or submit translation pull requests on GitHub; translations are synchronized from Transifex.

Door andere gebruikers te helpen

We willen Subsurface zo vriendelijk en uitnodigend mogelijk maken voor nieuwe gebruikers. Als je een ervaren gebruiker van Subsurface bent, neem dan deel aan ons Gebruikersforum en bied nuttige antwoorden op de vragen van nieuwe gebruikers.

Door ons financieel te steunen

Het uitvoeren van het Subsurface project kost geld. Dit geldt met name voor de gratis cloudgebaseerde synchronisatie van duiklogs die in Subsurface is ingebouwd. De hoofdbeheerder van Subsurface en van onze infrastructuur stelt donaties op prijs om deze kosten te dekken.
